Bitdefender Business Security received the AV-TEST Best Protection 2025 Award for Corporate Users (announced 12 March 2026). Awards and test results relate to Bitdefender's products, not to CUT Computers' services.

Why GravityZone, set up by CUT

Built to stop ransomware

Bitdefender says GravityZone detects abnormal encryption attempts from known or new ransomware, blocks the process and restores affected files from backup copies to their original location.

Set up and supported by CUT

You don't need extra servers. We set it up, configure the protection policies, check that automatic updates are on, and look after your licence renewals. Need help? Contact us during business hours (NSW time).

Independently tested

Bitdefender Business Security received AV-TEST's Best Protection 2025 Award for Corporate Users (opens in new tab) (announced 12 March 2026). In AV-Comparatives' Real-World Protection Test (Enterprise), March–June 2026 (opens in new tab), Bitdefender GravityZone Business Security Premium blocked 399 of 400 test cases, a 99.8% protection rate (report released 15 July 2026; the Premium tier was tested). These are results for Bitdefender's software in the testers' own labs, not CUT Computers' performance. No security product can stop every threat.

Frequently asked questions

Will it slow our computers down?

Bitdefender says GravityZone needs at least 512 MB of free memory (1 GB recommended) and 1.5 GB of free disk space. We'll check your machines before we install it.

Is it suitable for a medical practice?

GravityZone can help protect practice PCs and servers against ransomware, phishing and network attacks, and keeping antivirus up to date is one of the security measures the RACGP Standards expect. On its own it doesn't make a practice compliant with the Privacy Act, the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme or the RACGP Standards. Those obligations sit with the practice and also cover backups, access controls, staff training and an incident response plan. We can set GravityZone up to fit your practice and work alongside your practice manager or privacy officer. Talk to us about your setup.

What does CUT actually do?

We supply your GravityZone licences, install it on your devices, set up the protection policies and handle renewals. If you have a question, or GravityZone flags something you're unsure about, contact us during business hours (NSW time) and we'll help. We don't currently provide 24/7 monitoring or MDR.

Do you support businesses outside the Central Coast?

Yes. We supply, set up and support GravityZone remotely for businesses anywhere in Australia. Remote setup and support need an internet connection and your permission to connect to your devices. If you're on the Central Coast, we can also arrange on-site help, and we'll quote any call-out cost before we come.

How much does it cost?

Pricing on request. Quotes include GST. It depends on how many devices you have and which GravityZone tier you need. Contact us for a quote. Your quote will show the total price including GST, the licence term and how renewal works.
